Dutch Global Health Hub, October 10th, 2024 in The Hague
Following the launch of the Dutch Global health strategy in 2023, a key annual event was organised by the Dutch Global Health Hub (Dutch GGH) on October 10th 2024 in The Hague, gathering numerous stakeholders and official partners.
The Dutch Global Health HUB was launched as an instrument to implement the Global Health strategy by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS), the partner of JA GHI in The Netherlands.

For its first anniversary, workshops were organised on the three Community of Practice (CoP) meetings focusing on the priorities of the Dutch Global Health Strategy:
• CoP 1: Strengthening the global health architecture and national health systems
• CoP 2: Improving international pandemic preparedness and minimizing cross-border health threats
• CoP 3: Addressing the impact of climate change on public health, and vice versa
The event gave the opportunity to the stakeholders engaged in the Community of Practice to discuss the progress of the strategy and outline plans for the coming year.
French partners of the JA GHI, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign affairs, were invited to present the priorities, governance and monitoring framework of the French Global Health strategy and share their experiences on the national Global Health strategy. These discussions were positive in advancing Global Health initiatives and driving impactful change in the field.
